Squire Mucklow in the
early 1880s, the cottage still retains many of its original features.
Situated in one of North Cornwall's most popular areas and within
walking distance of the sandy beach of Widemouth Bay ideal for
surfers and bathers alike. Children will be in their element feeding
the variety of small animals as well as using the games room with
table tennis and air hockey. Enjoy a swim in the enclosed heated
swimming pool (available from May Bank Holiday to the end of Sept),
have a game of tennis on the tennis court, play in the small
adventure playground, or just relax and enjoy the scenery and
tranquillity. As well as all this you are only a short drive to a
host of sheltered coves and sandy beaches as well as attractions to
suit all tastes which include the steep, stepped cobbled streets of
Clovelly, The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Tamar Otter Park and
Wildwood, Launceston Steam Railway, The Eden Project, Tintagel with
its legends of King Arthur and the Knights of The Round Table and
Boscastle with its fishing trips to name but a few. In the evening
stroll along the woodland walk to the bird hide or over the fields
or watch the sun set over the sea from your balcony.
All 5 properties have ample parking. Bed linen included. one dog by
arrangement. Beach 0.75 mile, pub and shop 1 mile.
This fabulous modern cottage has recently been converted to a high
standard and now offers THREE bedrooms: 1 downstairs double with
adjoining family bathroom with shower over whirlpool bath, and WC, 2
upstairs twin bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room with WC. All
bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The living area is open plan with
the kitchen at one end with electric oven, microwave,
fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and breakfast bar. The
lounge area offers an electric fire, TV, DVD and doors leading out
to the enclosed patio and garden with furniture and BBQ. Electric
and underfloor heating (when needed) included. |
